Appeal Ruling #87: 28 October 2025

An Appellant has appealed a decision made by the Chair of the Investigating Committee (IC)of the Registration Authority not to refer a complaint against a Chartered Professional Engineer, to an Investigating Committee. The Appeal Panel found that there is sufficient evidence that warrants further investigation of the complaint by the RA. The appeal was upheld and the RA’s decision not to refer the complaint against the Appellant to an IC is overturned. The RA is therefore required to refer the complaint to an IC.
